STH 2113 Field Ecology
Field ecology, a subject allow students to experience various techniques in capturing and handling animals. The field work would require at least one week where students will have hands on experience on the field techniques explained during classroom sessions.

STH 3043 Park & Wildlife Management
This basic course emphases on the concept of conservation of wildlife through good habitat management system. Good management includes choosing of suitable area, creating and establishing effective park and wildlife sanctuary systems. This will be followed by providing the facility and authorizing specific regulations to maintain park exquisiteness and uniqueness. Methods of park management for the purpose of eco-tourism and habitat conservation will be discussed. Strategy of wildlife management with too high or too low animals population, including methods to catch, enclose and transport of these animals will be explained. Law enforcement, role played by the manager, national park and wildlife ranger, as well as local-community involvement also will be discussed.
